While reviewing Morgan Linton’s 2010 summary I noticed a banner across the top of his site advertising for VisitorDay.com. VisitorDay.com appears to be a new type of parking company so why not. With over 1400 names to work with I need options to park names while listing them or planning to develop them. I love WhyPark.com and Epik has been very good to me but it’s always good to explore other options.

VisitorDay.com is in beta but figured I could give it a go with a few names and see what happens. The names I chose for the test – see below – aren’t really paying anything parked so why not. Their website says they can pay more because their platform includes PPC, affiliate program income, content placement income and even advertising. 4 ways to make money versus just parked with PPC. Okay, so how easy can this be. (Note: no, I’m not looking for the easy way out but if a easy free way can provide some income then I’ll take it.)
Sign up and set up was pretty easy. You create groups of domains, or they have some preset already, and add domains to those groups. You can edit domains individually but you can also make edits to the groups (save some time). I chose to add names to two of their standard groups – Adult and Finance. Added the names and changed the DNS today.
I won’t bore/offend you with the adult names (and Mom, I’m working on selling them so relax) but the finance names chosen were:
- BestBankLoans.net
- Charge-Cards.net
- CreditCardsFor.com
- IraMoneyMarket.com
- RemoveTaxLiens.com
Granted, not the greatest names but that’s why they are parked for now. The goal of this test is to see how VisitorDay.com compares to other monetization options. Join me as we find out together.
Caveat: their servers appear really slow, even to the point of errors now and then, so I’ll cut this test short if that continues to be the case. If you have to wait on the Account Dashboard side to make changes due to slow servers what’s that do to the public side? We’ll see.
Feel free to comment if you’ve used VisitorDay.com before and provide any feedback on them below. Thanks.
